These talent specs assume your hit capped.

This is your standard shadow bolt spam build. Once hit capped the vast majority of you will want to be specced like this. The more locks specced like this in a raid, the more powerful all other shadow damage dealers might become. This is mostly due to the potentially constant improved shadow bolt buff. The points into succubus talents are pure filler, and I will try to keep variation on the number of points locks in this spec have into improved health stone.

One lock minimum in the raids will be in one of the following specs after the next patch is released.

I will probably jump on this spec if I am the most consistant. There is alot of room for variation in this build, I tried to focus on damage over mana in this variation.

Mal Ruin

If you jsut want to raid affliction, here is a hit capped version of that build as well. A UA DR lock gives the same raid buffs as a Mal Ruin lock, but Ruin can out perform Unstable Affliction if you have the crit rate for it.

DS S&F fire can be done, but near as I have seen it requies "Chance on crit for x damage for y time" trinkets to ever have a shot at out performing DS S&F. I have seen it out perform DS S&F on one occasion. I think we were lacking a shadow priest at the time, but had in our midst a fire mage.
